Receiving recognition for your business is an accolade every business wants to achieve, and an international recognition a real testament of your business achievements. Judy Sunasky has been recognised by the New York based International Woman Entrepreneurial challenge foundation (IWEC) and will receive mentoring and showcase her amazing business at the (IWEC) conference in China this year in September 2018, alongside the other woman in business nominees. Judy Sunasky is the MD of Blendwell Chemicals that specialises in manufacturing of green and food cleaning products for industry and cleaning service providers. Blendwell also offers own label manufacturing services to local and international clients. Judy has brought innovation into the green cleaning space and won awards and recognition in the environmental arena. Blendwell manufactures all their products in Midrand and was the first company in South Africa to achieve GreenTag certification in South Africa. GreenTag is an international certification recognised by the Green Building Council that ensures the product is safe and nontoxic. What this really means is that you don’t have to worry about the effect it will have on the people who use it, the environment it’s used in and what resources are being affected. Blendwell is also bringing green options into the food manufacturing and agricultural sectors and have green and food accreditation on some of their products and are developing more for the future. Risk is minimised in so many ways and significant savings and peace of mind can be gained by using these products. Blendwell is growing green, so join them on their journey to a greener, cleaner Africa.” IWEC are extremely excited to celebrate in Shanghai, the success and extraordinary achievements of inspiration-driven female entrepreneurs across the world such as Judy, who, together with the other woman nominees, have excelled not only in their respective businesses but as leaders and role models! The judge’s criteria were centred on the significant achievements of Blendwell to date, the high potential of the business, her ability and willingness to act as a role model to others, as well as her influence in making a distinctive contribution in her field of expertise. To put into perspective Judy’s business achievements, IWEC is an international economic empowerment program for women formed in 2007, with the assistance of the U.S. Department of State. It is designed to develop a global business network for successful women business owners, helping them gain and expand access to international markets, through the participation of chambers of commerce worldwide. In addition to the State Department, its founders include the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MCC), FICCI/FLO Chamber in New Delhi. Since our early stages, The US State Department played an important role in expanding the international scope of IWEC by supporting the inclusion of African women. Blendwell is a member of The Fourways Community Chamber of Commerce, who’s objectives are to develop entrepreneurs and establishing beneficial partnerships amongst businesses in the community. Receiving recognition for your business is an accolade every business wants to achieve and Blendwell has certainly done that. Congratulations to Judy and the Blendwell team!
